Voters head to the polls across New York City and state on Tuesday for the third time this year, after the presidential primary in April and the federal legislative primaries in June. Depending on your address, you might have contests for City Council, State Assembly and State Senate to weigh in on. And depending on your party, you could have a chance to vote on district leader, state committee, county committee, delegates to the judicial convention and the mysterious “opportunity to ballot.”

On Monday, Max Jaeger, deputy editor at the Community Newspaper Group; Eric Friedman, assistant executive director for public affairs at the New York City Campaign Finance Board; and Andrew Sloat, member and former president of the New Kings Democrats joined me on BRIC-TV’s BkLive to discuss key Brooklyn races and the question of whether the obscurity of some of today’s races is another case for reform.
