Hilly Gross, deft director of the New York City Housing Authority’s public information office, is leaving his job this week after three years and two months-he maintains he’s set a record for longevity in the post. Gross, whose replacement has yet to be named, is starting a private firm called Concurrent Consultants, which will handle commercial, legal and political public relations.

Ann Pasmanick has left the building–and is getting ready to clear out of the state. Kevin Ryan has taken over her job as executive director of the Community Training and Resource Center, and Pasmanick heads to D.C., where husband Rick Cohen now runs ferocious foundation faultfinders National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy.

Thomas Knierim, boss of the Long Island City Business Development Corporation, will leave the Queens biz boosters in August, with plans to launch a L.I. City technical district to attract new media, software and other hip-and-brainy firms.

As of June 1, Jack Krauskopf (ex-Aspen Institute think-tanker, ex-New School policy guru and ex-welfare commissioner) is current president of the Corporation for Supportive Housing, which provides technical assistance to supportive housing nonprofits.
