  • Wednesday, July 12, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: The city’s Department of Housing, Preservation and Development (HPD) is holding a climate ready buildings training to help building owners and designers understand NYC’s climate laws. More here. 
  • Thursday, July 13, 10:30 a.m.: The NYC Council’s Committee on Housing and Buildings will meet to discuss a local law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York in regards to lead-based paint in housing. More here.
  • Thursday, July 13, 1:30 p.m.: The NYC Council will hold a stated meeting and is expected to act on a number of items, including overriding a mayoral veto of earlier legislation that would expand eligibility for the city’s housing voucher program. More here.
  • Friday, July 14, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The city’s Department of Housing, Preservation and Development (HPD)’s mobile outreach van will be in Brooklyn to help individuals apply to housing connect lotteries, file a housing complaint, and more. More here. 
  • Tuesday, July 18, 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing regarding various properties in Brooklyn and Manhattan. More here.  
  • Tuesday, July 18, 6 p.m.: HPD is hosting a Homeowner Resource Forum over Zoom with information about foreclosure prevention, property tax exemptions, managing your water bill and more. More here.
