- Monday, Feb. 13 at 11:30 a.m.: The New York State Legislature will hold a joint hearing on the state’s human services budget, which impacts programs for housing, homelessness, childcare and more. More here.
- Monday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m.: St. Nicks Alliance in Brooklyn will host an in-person workshop on applying for the city’s affordable housing lotteries. More here.
- Tuesday, Feb. 14: The NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing; the agenda will be posted on the agency’s website starting 2/10. More here.

- Thursday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.: The NYC Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation‘s application to develop new office, commercial and educational space 1368 Fulton St. More here.
- Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.: Tenants and Neighbors, in collaboration with the Legal Aid Society, will host an educational training over Zoom how tenants can access CityFHEPS (City Fighting Homelessness and Eviction Prevention Supplement). More here.
- Thursday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.: Join HPD for a Homeowner Resource Fair in partnership with Neighborhood Initiatives Development Corp. (NIDC) and Assembly Member John Zaccaro Jr. More here.
NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.
- Waterside Plaza, Manhattan, for households earning between $86,640 – $264,800
- Apex Place Phase II, Queens, for households earning between $28,252 – $231,700
- 282 Grand Street Apartment, Manhattan, for households earning between $54,755 – $156,130
- 25-49 38th Street, Queens, for households earning between $75,840 – $156,130
- 108 Downing Street, Brooklyn, for households earning between $38,160 – $172,920
- 1661 Madison Avenue Apartments, Manhattan, for households earning between $101,143 – $156,130
