The Mayor apparently ousted Jeanett Colon, the head of the city’s Division of AIDS Services, on Friday, and replaced her with a City Hall aide, AIDS advocates tell City Limits.
“Colon didn’t have a real chance to implement and move DAS restructuring,” said Amy Herman, director of the NY AIDS Coalition. Sources say that Greg Caldwell, director of AIDS housing in the mayor’s office, will replace Colon.
Calls to the City Hall Press Office were not returned.
